You can also contact the Department of Motor Vehicles at tag@gwinnettcounty.com or 770-822-8818 during business hours (8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday, excluding holidays) with the vehicle identification number, and we can calculate an estimate of taxes due.
Motor Vehicle Appeals
If you disagree with the State-provided vehicle value, you have 45 days from the date the registration fees were paid to file an appeal. Visit the Board of Assessor’s website for more information.
